The scallops were plump and juicy, however I would’ve liked more as I was expecting more scallop and less salad! It certainly felt light and healthy. We also ordered the organic garlic bread to start, which had a perfectly crispy crust and soft and oily middle! I think the word ‘Russian’ was used in the description, perhaps Russian garlic (can’t quite remember!), but it was the main drawcard for me
The smoked cod gratin was warm and hearty. They were generous with their smoked cod which was chunky and briney. It was delicious but it was quite heavy and filling, so definitely good to share.
A great little cafe on the quieter end of Crown St. It’s really laid back and a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. I’d definitely recommend breakfast there and you could even do a spot of shopping afterwards
